David Morris, BACP-registered humanistic counsellor.

about me

In my previous career in TV News and Broadcasting, I spent many years living and working in many different countries. I’ve always been drawn with curiosity and interest to work with people and the common themes that can tend to cause us difficulties in life. These experiences drew me to train as a counsellor allowing me to help others find their path towards personal growth and their potential.

Having personal experience of neurodiversity within my own family, I bring an empathic and informed approach in helping clients navigate similar challenges.

I have undergone further training and have experience of working with young people, and I am committed to working with and supporting them.

In addition to 1-1 work I enjoy working with groups, where the benefits of shared experience and support can enhance personal growth and emotional healing collaboratively.

I also work with ex-offenders, fostering their therapeutic change and desires to be reintegrated into society.

I have a strong belief in the transformative power of humanistic psychotherapy, which Carl Rogers described as: "becoming the person that you have the possibility of becoming".
